Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikoogi (JPPP) is an open access journal in psychology published by The Faculty of Psychology Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). JPPP is a bi-annual peer reviewed journal that publishes original and meaningful contributions to the field of psychology in Indonesia. The journal aims for experimental, theoretical, measurement development and theoretical review articles in all areas of psychology. In particular, we expected to received article with advances statistical analysis in measurement, psychometric, and modelling study in psychology.

Abstract

Age and teaching experience are part of the factors that affect teacher efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of age and teaching experience on teacher efficacy in elementary school teachers who teach using Curriculum 2013. The number of samples in this study were 83 teachers who teach using the 2013 curriculum in North Jakarta. This research uses quantitative method with psychology scale. The preferred scale used to measure teacher efficacay seen from the age and experience of teaching teachers is Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES). Data processing methods used in testing the research hypothesis is by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of age and teaching experience on teacher efficacy in elementary school teachers in North Jakarta with 0,018 (<0.05). The resultant effect 90.5 % Influenced beyond age and teaching experience.

Abstract

The study was done to know the influence of fear of negative appearance evaluation toward body image of overweight women of late adolescene and early adulthood ages in Jakarta. Researcher used scale quantitatif methods psychology. Researcher used adapted instrument, namely MBRSQ-AS and FNAES. There are 108 samples of respondent which is overweight women of late adolescene and early adulthood ages. The data processing used in testing of hyphotheses analytics regression. The result of the influence is negative. It means that the higher fear of negative appearance evaluation the lower body image. The big influenced produced fear of negative appearance evaluation is 10,7% and the rest influenced by others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of father involvement on mate selection preferences in his young adult daughters. Researcher used scale quantitative methods psychology. Researcher used adapted instrument, namely Nurturant Fathering Scales and Father Involvement Scale subscale Reported Father Involvement Scale for variable of father involvement and used instrument created by researcher for variable mate selection preferences. There are 96 samples which is a father who has daughters ages 18-25 and is unmarried with accidental sampling. The data processing used in the testing of hypotheses analytics logistic regression. The result of this research is there is no influence of father involvement on mate selection preferences in his young adult daughters. But when viewed from the value of Odds Ratio of 2,571 indicates that the father has opportunity to choose the family background preferences of the prospecive life partner of his daughters of 2,571 times compared of the personal characteristics preference of the prospecive life partner of his daughters. That is the father has opportunity to choose the family background preference of their prospecive life partner of his daughters compared of their personal characteristics preference even though the value is only 2,571.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between teachers’ efficacy with information literacy skill on high-school teacher. This reaserch used qualitative approach with correlational research method. Population in this study was high-shcool teachers whom teached with curriculum 2013 in DKI Jakarta. Samples that used was 100 teachers using quota sampling technique. Measurement of information literacy used adaptation instrument made by Tisa Lina Putri (2013) based on The Big6 Model with instrument reliability was 0.94. Teachers efficacy was measured by Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale from Tschannen-Moran and Woolfolk Hoy (2001) with reliability of 0.70. Based on the results of data analysis, obtained the results there is a relationship between teacher efficacy with information literacy on the teacher. The result correlation value is 0.369 with a significance of 0.000 at a significance level of 5%. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the teachers efficacy with information literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional regulation on burnout. This study used quantitative method with psychological scale. There are 77 samples of respondents which are honorary teachers of middle down private elementary school with sampling technique is purposive sampling. This study used two adaptation scales that were burnout and emotion regulation scale. The data processing method that used to examine hypothesis were regression analysis one predictor. Based on the result of data analysis, obtained F count > 18,898 > F table 3,98 with p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05). There is the siginificant effect of emotion regulation on burnout in the honorary teachers of middle down private elementary school. From the equation of regression can be interpretated that if emotional regulation increases one unit, burnout will decrease of 0,425.

Abstract

This study aims to examine empirically whether there is influence between job involvement to organizational commitment. The subject were 221 lecturer of State University of Jakarta (UNJ) selecting using incidental sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative research, data collection techniques using research data obtained through survey instruments adapted from previous researchers. Instruments made have been tested for validity and reliability, and belonging to the reliable criteria. Research hypothesis testing was performed using linear regression analysis of the predictors, with the job involvement as a predictor variable. The analysis shows a correlation coefficient of 0,000, less than the significance level (0.05). This value is interpreted that there are significant job involvement to organizational commitment. The influence of job involvement against organizational commitment in this research is 24.2%. So this research indicates that the influence of job involvement against organizational commitment lecturers of the State University of Jakarta.

Abstract

Generally, married women are willing to have a child, but not all women are having opportunity to be a mother. Veevers (Miall, 1986) defined involuntary childless as psychological desire to have children yet unable to have them. This research aimed to identify the meaning of life of involuntary childless women. This research used qualitative method approach with Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Subject of this research was three involuntary childless womens. Data collection techniques used were interview with guidelines. The conclussion of the three cases from this study is the subjects have differences in the process of searching for meaning of life. In these cases has emerged themes on the four stages of the search for meaning of life.
